ABOUT US

Meet Our Founders

We started the ML Beauty nail polish and soy remover brand in response to our experiences with other commercial polishes that were often harsh on our nails and our overall health. Our products were also specifically chosen to be an extension of our mindful lifestyle focused on overall wellbeing. We also wanted to offer all nail polish beauty enthusiasts an alternative that is healthier and non-toxic without giving up the luxurious look and feel of nail polish.

We believe reducing chemicals in the nail polish is an important part of wellbeing. Our nail polish products are “13-free” or free from 13 chemicals. Our soy remover was developed without acetone to avoid harsh chemicals in our body.

Our 16 colors were carefully chosen because they are timeless.

We also learned customers who follow different faiths have limited options for nail polishes. We wanted to provide a breathable and Halal certified polish that all people, regardless of faith, are able to enjoy.

At the same time, we support sustainability and ethical creation and use of products that focuses on supporting the environment and the people and animals who live on the planet. This is why we chose a hard maple wood ethically sourced from Maine and handcrafted in Maine.

We make every effort to only work with organizations that support our mission to bring natural and luxurious beauty products to the market.

We want to provide a natural, healthier and yet still luxurious beauty product for all people to enjoy. We hope you love our polishes and remover!

SUSTAINABILITY & ETHICS

We are committed to using sustainable and eco-friendly produced products as much as we are able to support the people, animals and our planet.

Our polishes and soy removers are made in the United States, starting with the polish free from 13 chemicals, one of the highest chemical-free polishes in the market. The polish and soy glass bottles are sourced from Italy and are recyclable. Our product boxes are made in _________ sourced from 100% recyclable wood and vegan dye. Our shipping and filler packaging and cards are also made from 100% recyclable wood.

We take pride in offering one if not the first authentic wooden caps sourced from hard maple wood and manufactured and stained in Maine. This supports the local economy and minimizes plastics use. Each bottle is unique because the wood used to create the cap comes from different parts of the tree.

WHO WE SUPPORT

We support all organizations who strive to offer high-quality luxury products without sacrificing sustainability and ethics. Currently, we support ____________.

CERTIFICATIONS

Our nail polishes are breathable, water permeable and designated as Halal certified by The Islamic Society of the Washington Area (“ISWA”) Halal Department. This means our polish and soy remover manufacturer is certified Halal or in compliance with Halal requirements according to Islamic Law. This is especially important for people who wish to wear polishes while practicing their Muslim faith and require polishes that are Wudu-friendly.

We are also certified by the Leaping Bunny Program “Leaping Bunny.” Leaping Bunny is part of The Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics (“The Coalition”), or a coalition of national animal protection groups that promote a meaningful, reliable, non-animal testing standard and logo for cosmetics, personal care, and household products. The Coalition was developed to meet both consumer and corporate demand for a single, reliable standard or certification that designates products as free of new animal testing. We believe this organization sets a higher standard for supporting animals because it requires organizations to annually recommit to remain free of animal testing at all stages of product development.
